NEN-EN 1090-1 and CPR
There are European rules for construction products for the supplying industry such as manufacturers, importers and distributors. One of these quality guidelines in the Netherlands, the Construction Products Regulation; in English is called CPR Construction Products Regulation (no. 305/2011).
The goal is to promote free trade between EU Member States and to ensure safety for users. In particular, the removal of trade barriers to come by on the one hand the harmonization of methods of testing and assessing products and the other, to achieve a uniform and transparent rules for the internal European market.
From July 1, 2014, the existing standard BS EN 1090-1 legally required for steel and aluminum constructions.
CE – marker and Declaration of Performance (DoP)
CE stands for “Conformité Européenne” which means that the product complies with European regulations. The norm EN – EN 1090-1 requires manufacturers to set up a plant process control system. This must be documented and maintained. Then this system is tested by an inspection body.
Water Silos Groosman this process has successfully completed and the steel marketed may components for water silos intended for marking use of all construction types, CE.
